Jill Goedken,
AIA, CSI, CDT, CCS

Jill Goedken, AIA, CSI, CDT, CCS

Jill Goedken is a registered architect and independent specifier based in Des Moines, Iowa. In 2016, after nearly 25 years as a practicing architect, project manager, and firm leader, she founded SPECcetera - an architectural specification consulting firm serving architectural firms, owners, and manufacturers throughout the Midwest and beyond.

Jill is passionate about helping project teams create well-coordinated, high-quality documents through product selection support, document review, and detailed specifications. In addition to leading a team of three specifiers, she’s actively involved with AIA Iowa, CSI Central Iowa, and the CSI North Central Region, serving in various board and committee roles.

When time and weather allow, Jill enjoys camping with her husband and their teenage son and daughter.

Angela Gehl,
CSI,CDT

Angela Gehl, CDT, CSI

Angela brings over 20 years of experience across a range of roles in the construction and architecture industries. With a degree in construction engineering, she began her career in project management on design-build projects, diving into all the field had to offer. She later transitioned into construction administration at an architecture firm, managing large commercial projects and collaborating closely with design teams to see them through to completion.

Now, as a specifier, Angela draws on her diverse background to help teams deliver high-quality, well-coordinated construction documents. She’s also an active member of her local CSI chapter, staying engaged with the industry.

Outside of work, Angela keeps busy attending her kids’ many sporting events, enjoying time outdoors, and relaxing with her knitting.

Lynor Koch

Lynor brings over 36 years of accounting experience in the architectural world. Though she’s more than earned her retirement, she graciously keeps one foot in the working world as a billing clerk for SPECcetera. When she’s not bicycling, camping, walking, or traveling, Lynor jumps on her laptop to review project progress, streamline processes, and keep a close eye on the books—helping us stay sharp and efficient.

Miriam Augustin, IIDA, RID, NCIDQ, CSI

Miriam is a registered Interior Designer in Iowa with a BFA in Interior Design from Iowa State University and over a decade of experience in the field.

With a strong background in collaborating closely with architects, she has developed expertise in producing technical details and coordinating construction document delivery for healthcare, higher education, and commercial projects. In her current role, Miriam focuses on developing detailed, accurate interior project specifications that ensure technical requirements align seamlessly with the design intent and project goals.

Outside of work, Miriam enjoys spending time with her husband and two boys. She’s an avid runner and a passionate reader.
